Multipage work of Anatoliy Jurkin is the first Russian research such difficult theme as the art world series Ballantine Adult Fantasy.
The covers of a series Ballantine Adult Fantasy create own figurative model of the world. This very difficult system with endogenous by communications leaving far beyond a temporary piece of the edition of the concrete book. Fantasy of a cover are built on book traditions of Northern Europe and South America, on the citations from apical of samples of art of theatrical scenery (first of all, Gordon Craig), on motives from world folklore and even Old Testament reminiscences. The landscapes, characters, artefacts and other images represent itself as carriers of the art information. A series did not renew, covers is rare republish, but there was a need for the information, contained in them.
